2025 Requirements for Employment at Equity Bank Kenya
1. Assistant Manager, Business Continuity Management
The person occupying this post shall be in charge of aiding development, implementation and maintenance of the bank’s Business continuity and Disaster Recovery framework. You’re to foresee potential risk, carry out impact analysis and then orchestrate escape strategies.
The qualifications, experience, skills and competence required for this post are as follows:
- You must have a Bachelor’s degree in either Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management or any other related field.
- Having a Master’s degree will increase your chances of employment.
- Applicant of this role must have professional certifications like Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) ISO or Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII) etc.

2. Senior Manager Credit Risk
As the Senior Manager Credit Risk, you will be working under the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) department to coordinate and manage Equity Bank credit risk vulnerability. This shall include strategy and policy development, portfolio management etc.
To get this job, candidate must have:
- A Bachelor and Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance etc. from an accredited university.
- A progressive five (5) years’ experience and more in credit risk management in similar financial organization is needed.
- Good understanding of credit risk principles, methodologies and best practices.
- Capability to work effectively with other team members.
3. Business Planning Manager
You will be saddled with the duty of enforcing strategic planning, forecasting, and performance monitoring functions within the enterprise Risk department.
To qualify for the role;
- You must be a graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Economics etc.
- Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, PRM etc. are of advantage.
- At least three (3) years’ experience in risk management, business planning or financial analysis is required.
