About Zambia Revenue Authority

The Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) was officially established on 1st April 1994 through the revenue authority act, now chapter 321 of Zambia laws as a result of declining Government revenues from its climax of 30 GDP to 13 GDP.

Fundamentally, the functions of ZRA includes collection of tax, customs and trade facilitation, tax administration and policy implementation, modernization and refund, as well as ensuring improved management polices to help achieve efficient and professional integrity in tax collection.

The mission of this authority is to optimize and sustain revenue collection and administration for the prosperity of the country.

Requirements for Zambia Revenue Authority Recruitment 2025

• Candidates applying must be a citizen of Zambia with acceptable means of identification like National Identity Card or Passport.
• A grade 12 certificate or General Certificate of Education with a minimum of five (5) credits including English language.
• Depending on the position, candidates may be required to possess a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree.
• Having five (5) to ten (10) years of experience is an added advantage.
• Possessing goo communication, interpersonal, self-motivated, planning and organization skills.
• Applicant should be a member of professional body/organizations where necessary.
• He or she must have good knowledge of labour laws and compliance requirements.
• Must be a computer literate and;
