Yes, on 30th April 2025 the management of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) announced internship opportunities that will provide practical experience and job training for youths over a one (1) year period.

This act is in line with the Government Youth Initiative to develop young talents for the Kenyan Labour Market. Applications for this internship vacancies can be submitted online or offline at the head office or the nearest branch.

NSSF Internship Vacancies 2025

Qualified persons will be given intern role by Heads of various departments in National Social Security Fund. Irrespective of your academic discipline, so long you have either a Diploma or Degree then you can submit application.

Requirements and Competencies Needed

Applicant of this internship program must be Kenyan citizen between the ages of 20 to 34 currently unemployed.

• Applicant must have graduated with either a Bachelor’s degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• It is necessary that you have the certificate handy as it will be required during screening.
• Ending of May 2025 should mark four (4) years after your graduation.
• A recommendation letter from the school you graduated from is required.
• Applicant must not be engaged by any other internship programme or have any work experience since graduation.
• Applicant must be ready to give the internship full time throughout the one (1) year period.
• Candidate applying must be someone of high integrity, result oriented, adaptive, good team player, good interpersonal and communication skills and as well be proficient in relevant computer applications.

Those who submit application after Monday, 19th May 2025 shall not be considered. Incomplete application shall lead to automatic disqualification.

Note that the you’re not guaranteed a job after the internship duration, shortlisted candidates shall be contacted in due cause.
