1. Position of Office Assistants

To work in Kenya Maritime Authority as an officer assistant you must:

• Be proficient in both English and Kiswahili languages.
• Qualification such as diploma or its equivalent is required
• Possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skill is necessary

2. Position of Office Administrator

• Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Secretarial studies or equivalent educational qualification from a recognized university.
• Passing the following examinations from Kenya National Examinations Agency (KNEC) is mandatory.
• Typewriting II or Computerized document professing II, Shorthand, Business English, Office Management, Secretarial Duties and Commerce.
• Applicant of this position must have attended a supervisory course of at least two (2) weeks.
• Work experience for a minimum of three (3) years is compulsory.
• Candidate applying for this position must be conversant with necessary computer applications, showcase capability of office management and possess excellent communication skills.

3. Driver

• If you’re applying as a driver then you must have a valid driving license for any class of vehicle.
• You must possess Occupational Trade Test II certificate and attended First Aid Certificate curse of not less than one (1) week.
• Having driving experience of over three (3) years is still an added advantage.
