Is KeFS Shortlisted Candidates 2025 Out?
According to the Kenya Fisheries Service recruitment process set out by the management, KeFS list of successful applicants will be released two (2) weeks after the application deadline.
There are diverse ways through which you can ascertain if truly Kenya Fisheries Service shortlist is out.
First, all shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the management via email or SMS. This means, you have to keep an eye on both your mail and SMS inbox for an enlistment notification from KeFS.

How to Check Kenya Fisheries Service Shortlisted Candidates 2025
Checking the list on Kenya Fisheries Service portal:
- Visit KeFS official website at www.kefs.go.ke,
- Navigate to careers on the menu,
- Scroll through the page to locate shortlisted candidates for interview,
- Click to download the PDF file,
- Ensure you have a PDF reader in your device,
- Proceed to open the list of shortlisted candidates,
- Then carefully search through for your name.
Checking via Public Service Commission (PSC) website:
- Open www.publicservice.go.ke using any browser of your choice,
- Click job opportunities under “jobs” on the menu,
- Select shortlisted candidates on the sub-menu,
- Check for Kenya Fisheries Service shortlisted candidates,
- Click the download button to get the PDF file,
- Navigate through the list to find your name.
Note: The PDF contains names of all successful candidates, their interview date, time and venue, as well as the documents each persons should bring to the screening.
How are candidates shortlisted?
It’s simple, Kenya Fisheries Service (KeFS) uses the requirements stated in the job advert to select qualified persons. Even after getting shortlisted, some candidates who do not pass the interview screening will still be dropped.
Here’s how candidates are shortlisted by KeFS and what you should look out for during the interview screening.
- Applicant must be a citizen of Kenya with valid National ID or Passport.
- He or she must be above 20 years.
- Must have either a Diploma or Degree depending on the position applied for.
- Must provide authentic and verifiable information during application.
- Must submit application on or before set deadline.
When going for the interview:
Carry along original and photocopies of relevant academic and professional certificates, National Identity Card or Passport, two (2) recent passport photograph, clearance certificates from HELB, KRA DCI etc. and other supporting documents.
