About Kenya Fisheries Service
The Kenya Fisheries Service (KeFS) was established by the government according to Act 35, 2016 of the Fisheries Management and Development. In this regard, the vision of the service is to ensure conservation, management and development of fisheries and aquaculture resources in Africa.

Requirements and Qualifications Needed
- Candidates applying must be citizen of Kenya with valid National Identity Card or Passport.
- Applicant must also have Kenya Certificate of Primary Education or equivalent from an approved institution.
- Those applying for the position of a driver must have a valid license for driving vehicles within classes BC.
- Applicant must also have a good suitability test certification from necessary government training institution.
In addition to the above, candidates with KCSE, Diploma or Degree, at least 4 years experience, defensive driving certification, first-aid certification and must be a computer literae.
