1. Chief Officers

  • Applicants going for these posts must have first degree from an accredited university in Kenya. Those with Master’s degree have an added advantage.
  • Applicant must have at least 10 years cumulative professional experience. Five (5) years must be in leadership position.
  • Relevant skills and knowledge in Project Planning and Management, Public Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Conflict Resolution Management, Strategic Management etc. is mandatory.
  • Applicant must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Membership with relevant professional body is mandatory.
  • He or she must have capacity to work under pressure to meet deadline.
  • Finally, applicant must adhere to the requirements of chapter six (6) of the constitution.

2. Director of Human Resource Management

  • Applicants of this role must have a Masters and Bachelor’s degree in either Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or a closely related academic discipline.
  • Must have served at the grade of Deputy Director, Human Resource for at least three (3) years.
  • Must have attended a leadership program such as SLDP that lasted not less than six (6) weeks.
  • Must be an active member of IHRM (K) or any other professional body.
  • Must be skillful in Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
  • It is mandatory to meet the demands of the chapter six (6) of Kenya constitution.

3. Data Clerks

The key responsibilities of this office shall include entering of data, verification and accuracy, forming and compilation, database management and administrative/customer support.

4. Community Oral Health Officer

  • This role requires that you have a degree or Diploma in Community Oral Health or related course from Kenya Medical Training College or another recognized institution.
  • Additionally, you should have a good communication and interpersonal skills especially as regards to locals in rural communities.

5. Dental Technologist

  • Fundamentally, you must have a degree in Diploma in Dental Technology or other relevant academic discipline from recognized institution.
  • Been a registered and active member of Kenya Dental Technologists Association is mandatory. You should as well be conversant with relevant computer applications.

6. Pharmaceutical Technologist III

  • Certifications in Pharmaceutical Technology or equivalent qualifications is demanded.
  • Been enrolled as pharmaceutical technologist by Kenya Pharmacy and Poisons Board is mandatory.

7. Registered Nurse III

  • You must have graduated as either a Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse, Kenya Registered Midwifery etc. and possess registration certificate and a valid license from Nursing Council of Kenya.

Kindly note that officers currently serving in the County Public Service must indicate their payroll number, date of first appointment, date of last promotion, current grade and substantive designation.
