UPDF recruitment 2025 Dates and Centres (Updated Timetable): Are you a lover of the military and would love to join the Uganda People Defence Force?

UPDF periodically carries out their recruitment, where they allow for young or interested persons who want to join them to apply.

These recruitments are done across most or all of the cities in Uganda, and persons who are interested can seize this opportunity, and then apply. 

However, one can not just apply that way, as you will need to know the centers and dates for the UPDF recruitment.

About UPDF Recruitment

The Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) is the military of Uganda, and they are responsible for the country’s defense and security from terrorism and foreign attacks. 

The UPDF annually accepts applications from persons who want to join them, and forms could be available at various recruitment centers for applicants to get.

How to Apply for UPDF Recruitment 2025

Here are steps on how to apply for the UPDF recruitment:

• Get a recommendation letter
• Visit the UPDF recruitment portal here www.updf.go.ug/careers
• Select Apply
• Enter your details, including a soft copy of the recommendation letter, and lot other documents including their Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or equivalent, or higher degree and other personal details
• Click on apply
