Uganda Police Force Recruitment 2025 Dates
Officially, the Uganda Police Force (UPF) recruitment has commenced and will be ongoing till Friday, 21st March 2025. Interested candidates are to submit application as well as relevant documents on or before the set date to avoid disqualification.

Requirements for UPF Recruitment 2025/2026
- Citizenship: First eligibility criteria is that you must be a Citizen of Uganda with current National Identity/Confirmation of information on the Register letter from NIRA.
- Age: You must not be below 18 years.
- Fitness: Applicant must be medically and physically fit. Should be eligible to work for long hours and some time under difficult conditions. In other words, persons that are physically challenged are not allowed to apply due to the nature of training involved.
- Qualifications: Candidates applying must have a UCE certificate or equivalent not earlier than 2020 with a minimum of 4 credits including Mathematics and English i.e. for those under traditional grading system.
- While those for Competency Based System must have 4 C’s including Mathematics and English or a D grade in other subject.
- Law Abiding: Candidates applying are expected to have zero criminal record and as well be ready to work in any part of the country.
- Other criteria: Applicant must possess good communication skill and must not be a serving or former officer in other forces.

How to Apply for Uganda Police Force Recruitment 2025
Persons who meet the above requirements can join the force by submitting a valid National Identity Card, 3 recent passport size, Identity Card or introductory letter from LCI, LCII and RDC), and hand written application addressed to the Inspector General of Police.
