Job Description & Requirements

The general eligibility criteria are that all applicant must be Kenyan citizen with valid means of identification such as National Identity Card or Passport, and also adhere with the requirements of chapter six of the constitution.

1. Deputy Director, Internal Audit and Risk Assurance

The duties and responsibilities of the Deputy director includes:

  • Overseeing the formulation, execution and review of internal audit policies and procedures to ensure with goes with auditing standards.
  • Shall provide necessary secretariat services to the Audit and Risk Committee of the Board.
  • Shall evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls on financial and non-financial performance management systems within the Authority.

Requirements:

  • Applicant must have both Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in either Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Economics etc. from an accredited/recognized institution.
  • Must under the operations of relevant computer applications.
  • A total of fifteen (15) years’ experience is required.
  • Must have Part III certificate of either Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountants (CPA) or Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) etc.
  • Must be a member of ICPAK or any other relevant professional body.
  • Must have attended a mandatory Leadership of not less than four (4) weeks.

2. Corporation Secretary and Deputy Director, Legal Services

  • You shall be responsible for board members induction and training.
  • You shall see to the implementation of the code of conduct and ethics.
  • Ensure adequate and effective communication between the authority and shareholders.

Requirements:

  • Candidates applying must have at least fifteen (15) years of relevant work experience.
  • Must be a graduate of Master’s and Bachelor’s degree as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Law.
  • Must have a valid practicing license.
  • Advocate of the high Court of Kenya.
  • Must be registered with Law Society of Kenya and as well attended a leadership/management course for at least four (4) weeks.
