Eligibility Requirements for NYEWASCO Internship 2025

• Applicant must be between the ages of 18 to 35 years.
• Must be a Kenyan citizen.
• Must have a valid National Identity card or passport.
• Must have at least D+ mean grade in K.C.S.E.
• Reside in Kenya, preferably Nyeri.

Qualifications Needed

In addition to the above, applicants must meet the qualification below:

1. Legal intern: Applicants of this position must have a degree in law from an approved university and also a reference letter from Kenya School of Law to ascertain completion of the Advocates Training Program.

2. Audit, Risk & Compliance: To qualify for this role, you must have first Degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.

3. Supply Chain Intern: A degree in Commerce, Procurement, Supplies management etc. are required for this role.

4. Finance & Accounts intern: CPA part 2/intermediate level and must have graduated with bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Accounting or Finance etc.

5. Human Resource & Administration intern: Applicant must be proficient in ICT skills and also have a degree in Human Resource management from a recognized institution.

6. Corporate planning & strategy intern: Candidate must have a degree in Economics, Finance or Strategic Management is pivotal.

7. Debt collection intern: Ideal candidate must have a Craft certificate in plumbing & water service or a Diploma in plumbing, without which you shouldn’t apply.

8. New connections intern: Must have a Diploma in Plumbing or Craft certificate.

9. Meter reading intern: Must have a Diploma in Advance Meter Readers Course or Craft certificate in Plumbing.

10. Corporate Communications & Public Relations intern: A degree is communications, public relations or media relations is required for this role.

11. Distribution intern: Diploma or Craft cert. in Plumbing and Water services.

12. Laboratory & Quality assurance intern: A bachelor’s degree in Biology, or Chemistry is required.

13. Geospatial Information System (GIS) intern: Applicant must have B.Sc. in GIS or Geospatial engineering.
