Requirements for Ministry of Health Jobs 2025

Candidates applying for position that are strictly medical must have a degree or equivalent in the medical field from a recognized higher institution in Kenya or beyond. Having a C+ in KCSE is also mandatory.

Candidates with relevant working experience of at least three (3) years have an added advantage. Those applying for internship do not need this. You must have clearance certificates as specified in the chapter six (6) of Kenya constitution from relevant bodies.

1. Project Manager

• Applicants of this role must have a Bachelor and Master’s degree in either Computer Science, Engineering, Digital Health, Health Informatics, Health Information Systems etc. from an approved university.
• Relatively, at least 12 years of work experience relevant to this role is needed.
• Candidate must be a member of professional body relevant to discipline,
• Additionally, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are required.

2. Technical Manager

• Candidates applying for this role must have a Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Digital Health, IT, and ICT etc.
• Overall, a total of nine (9) years relevant work experience is required.
• Applicant must be experienced in planning, designing, developing and operating ICT systems and programmes.
• Should be a member of relevant professional body.

3. Software Engineer

• Applicant must have at least five (5) years work experience in development, management, design, UX research and design, project management etc.
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in either Computer Engineering, Science, Information Technology etc.
