MCK Shortlisted Candidates 2025 for Industrial Placement Programme
We’re glad to announced that the names of shortlisted candidates for the Media Council of Kenya (MCK) industrial placement programme May – July 2025 is out. Congratulations to all selected applicants.
As earlier espoused by the Media Council of Kenya, this industrial placement programme is giving selected students full insight of the journalism thereby enhancing their skills in the media industry.
To all students who submitted applications, we’ve explained how you can download MCK shortlisted candidates, the criteria for selection used and what to do next is selected.
Is MCK Shortlisted Candidates for Industrial Placement Out?
Yes, the list of successful applicants for the 2025 Media Council of Kenya Industrial Placement Programme is out and published via MCK official website on 29th April 2025.
Understand that selected candidates are for the May – July 2025 cohort and here’s how to confirm if your name is among.
First, check the inbox or spam of the email you used to register for the industrial placement programme. Secondly, you may have received an SMS notification.

What to do after checking
The next thing after confirming your name on the shortlist is to report at the Media Council of Kenya office with copies of relevant documents and credentials including your National Identity Card or Passport.
