The Kenya Institute of Social Work, KISWCD is recruiting principal, consultants/trainers & driver. Interested persons are to visit the recruitment portal www.kiswcd.co.ke to submit application on or before 28th May 2025.

KISWCD was officially founded in 1997 but commence full operation in 2000 by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. Although affiliated to KNEC, ICM UK, CDAAC, NITA, ABMA etc. the institute offers Diploma and certificate in the following discipline:

• Community Development
• Social Work Welfare
• Project Management
• Nutrition and Dietetics
• Community Health and Counsel etc.

Requirements for KISWCD Recruitment 2025

Here are the key criteria applicants of the announced vacancies must adhere.

1. Principal

• Applicant must have at least a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Development, Technical Education or Sociology.
• Must have at least D+ mean grade in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E).
• Those with Diploma in Technical Education have a plus.
• Having five (5) years’ experience or more in a TVET institution is mandatory.
• Candidate must possess good leadership, Management and Business Acumen skills.
• Sticking to the requirements of chapter 6 of Kenya constitution is mandatory.

2. Trainers/Consultants

• Applicant of this role must have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in academic discipline such as Project Management, Business Management, Social Work or Counselling.
• Must possess good communication and TOT skills.
• Must have a valid government issued ID card as well as adhere to chapter 6 of the constitution.

3. Drivers

• Applicant must have minimum of D+ in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
• Those with NYS certificate have a plus.
• Must have current PSV driving license.
• At least 5+ years’ experience is required.
• Must have certificate of good conduct from DCI.
