General Eligibility Criteria

• All applicants are expected to have a valid National Identity Card.
• Understand and fulfill the requirements of chapter six of Kenya constitution.

Requirements for Kericho County Public Service Jobs 2025

1. Legal Officer II

Officer shall be responsible for carrying out necessary legal research, draft contract, vet and negotiate contracts as well as overseeing legal disputes and inquiries.

We need candidates who have at least a Bachelor of Law from an approved university, a Post graduate Diploma in Law and should currently be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

In addition to the above qualification should be proficiency in computer application, good interpersonal and skillful communication skills.

2. County Solicitor

You shall be acting as the main assistant to the County Attorney in implementing necessary functions like organizing, coordinating, and managing administrative legal duties. Offering advise to the county government in regards to Constitution, County and National Legislation amongst others is necessary.

To qualify for this position, we want someone who has LLB and master’s degree from an approved university. Must be an advocate of the Kenya High Court with not less than five (5) years experience.

3. Social Welfare Officer III

Overseeing donations and formulation of social welfare and other social welfare activities in the county. For appointment, we need a candidate with KCSE mean grade C and Diploma in either Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Anthropology etc from an approved tertiary institution.

4. Cultural Officer II

You will be working under the department of Education, Libraries and Social Service. As the cultural officer II, encouraging formulation of necessary association by cultural practitioners, as well as promoting Kiswahili and indigenous languages are you primary duties.

5. Library Assistant II

Filing of catalogue cars, charging and discharging library materials as well as other library assistant functions. To qualify for this post, Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C is required, Diploma in Library Studies or Information Science and also be a computer literate.
