Kazi Mtaani/NYOTA Program Ksh20 Billion Youth Apprenticeship Support Funds

The President of Kenya Ruto recently announced collaboration with World bank for the NYOTA program Ksh20 billion youth apprenticeship support funds which is set to start soon.

This program seeks to support over fourty five thousand (45,000) youths in diverse apprenticeship program, while selected employers will be contracted to train beneficiaries in both public and private institutions.

Alongside with this, the Kazi Mtaani program will resume after two (2) years of abolition starting 2022. This very program was introduced under the National Hygiene Program (NHP) to curb the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the president (Ruto), “From next week, we will be rolling out Kazi Mtaani across the country. 110,000 youths will benefit from this program.

Selection Criteria

To become a beneficiary, you must be citizen of Kenya with National Identity Card or Passport. Must be between the ages of 18 – 35 years, reside in any of Kenya’s county and as well indicate interest by submitting application before the deadline.
