Eligibility Criteria for IEBC Recruitment 2025

1. Chairperson of IEBC

• Applicant must have a minimum of fifteen year experience as a superior court judge.
• Must also be experienced as a distinguished academic, judicial officer, legal practitioner etc.
• Those holding a public office either at Parliament, County or State office are not allowed to apply.

2. Member of the IEBC

• Applicants must have a degree from an accredited University.
• Possess at least ten (10) years of experience in either electoral matters, management, finance, governance, public administration or law.
• Holding a public office will automatically disqualify you off the application process.

3. IEBC County Election Manager

• Candidates for the role of County election manager must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any social science course from an established and recognized university.
• He or she must have worked with IEBC for a minimum period of 5 years especially as constituency election coordinator.

4. IEBC Polling and Counting Clerks

• This officer must possess at least a Diploma in ICT and had successfully completed a minimum of two (2) years industrial attachment. Communication and reporting skills are core requirements.

5. Elections County Coordinator

• Candidate must possess professional and effective communication skills.
• Must be able to manage people effectively.
• Must be available during general elections.
• Must be a resident in this constituency and ward applied for
