Aquaculture Census Recruitment 2025 Enumerators Jobs Application Form

The Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) has announced that the Aquaculture Census recruitment 2025 for enumerator’s job vacancies has commenced. Applications are therefore invited from suitably qualified candidates.

As you may know, the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) is the government agency that handles the National Statistics System for accurate collection, analysis and dissemination of standardized statistical data.

The agency intends to carry out Aquaculture Census in 2025 and currently seeks to employ capable hands to ensure the success of this project. Persons needed must be result oriented, highly adaptable, uphold integrity and stays motivated.

Aquaculture Census Vacancies 2025

A total of Two Hundred and Eighty Four (284) enumerators are needed for a period of one (1) month that the census will last. They will be reporting directly to the District Fisheries Officer (DFO) etc.

Aquaculture Census Enumerator Job Application Form

Applicants of Aquaculture census recruitment are to fill and submit the online application form online at www.aqualculturerecruitment.ubos.org. Note that the application process does not require a fee. In as much as it is for free, below are the key requirements which applicants must meet.

Requirements, Qualifications and Skills

• Candidates applying must be within the ages of 18 to 50 years.
• Interested persons must have at least Ordinary Level Certificate, Uganda Certificate of Education or equivalent qualification with atleast a credit score in both Mathematics and English Language.
• Persons with relevant training in fisheries or aquaculture have an advantage.
• Having a valid National Identity Card is mandatory.
• A Tax Identification Number (TIN) and be registered for National Social Security Fund (NSSF Number).
• Candidate must not hold any public office and should be residing in the district which they wish to work.
• Must be proficient in computer applications.
• Applicant must have a criminal free background.
• Having experience in data collection for censuses and surveys is a plus.
• Swimming and communication skills are mandatory.
• Applicant must have a phone number registered with Mobile Money in their Own Name and also a smartphone.

The census is scheduled to hold from 1st to 30th May 2025. Throughout this period, you will be expected to give the aquaculture activity full-time.

Aquaculture Census Recruitment 2025 Deadline

The application deadline for the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) aquaculture census recruitment is 25th April 2025. Inability to complete your application by the said closing date will lead to disqualification, and only shortlisted candidates shall be reached out to.
