Requirements for AKUM Recruitment 2025

1. Academic Staff:

• Applicant must be an indigene of Nigeria with valid National Identity Card or Passport.
• Ph.D. in relevant field (required for Professors and Associate Professors and Senior Lecturers)
• Relevant teaching and research experience
• Evidence of Publications in reputable journals
• Professional memberships Certificates (where applicable)

2. Non-Academic Staff:

• Applicant must be an indigene of Nigeria with valid National Identity Card or Passport.
• Relevant qualifications and experience
• Computer literacy is essential
• Prior work in university or public service is an advantage

AKUM Recruitment Process

All applicants will undergo a 3-stage recruitment process:

• CBT Aptitude Test: Computer-based test to assess general reasoning and role-specific knowledge.
• Paper-based Examination: Subject-area exam (for academic roles) or competency-based test (for non-academic roles)
• Oral Interview: Panel interview assessing communication, expertise, and institutional fitness

Candidates must successfully pass each stage to move to the next.
